If you are a senior and looking for something to do during the week, the city of Boynton Beach has you covered with a variety of activities ranging from Mah Jongg to Line Dancing. All activities are free throughout the spring for registered participants, and you can register at the Senior Center.
Here is a schedule of some of the classes:
Line Dancing: Monday, Tuesday & Friday, 12:30 – 2:30 p.m.
Chair Exercise Class: Monday & Friday, 10 & 11 a.m.
Silver Fox’s Exercise: Tuesday & Thursday, 9:30 – 10:30 a.m.
Tai Chi Class: Wednesday, 9 a.m. (Intermediate) & 10 a.m. (Beginners)
Open Computer Lab: Monday, Wednesday & Friday 8 a.m. -12:30 p.m., Tuesday & Thursday 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Fitness Room: Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. (requires doctor authorization)
Blood Pressure Checks: Wednesday, 9 – 11 a.m.
Vision Testing: Second Tuesday monthly, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Glucose, Cholesterol & PSA Screening: Second Tuesday monthly, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Foot Screening: Wednesday, 9 a.m.
Attorney Assistance: Wednesday, 9 a.m.
Notary Service: Thursday, 9 a.m.
Outlook Club for the Blind: Thursday, 9 a.m.
Rick’s Café with A.N.T.H.U.M. Jazz Dance Band: Thursday, 1 p.m.
Mah Jongg: Wednesday & Thursday, 1 p.m.
Bingo: Wednesday, 9:30 a.m.
Woodcarvers Club: Friday, 9 a.m.
