Here are a few free or cheap activities for families this Spring Break week:
* Free nature walks at 10 a.m. seven days a week at John D. MacArthur Beach State Park, 10900 Jack Nicklaus Drive, North Palm Beach. Families are invited to join a one-mile nature walk through four distinct habitats. Reservations are not required, and there is no cost beyond park admission, which is $4 per car.
* Free guided hammock walk at 10 a.m. every Wednesday at Gumbo Limbo Nature Center, 1801 N. Ocean Blvd., Boca Raton. Children must be accompanied by an adult; advance registration is suggested, but not required. Suggested donation to the center is $3 per person.
* Free story hour for children 10 and younger at 10:30 a.m. every Wednesday at Loggerhead Marinelife Center, 14200 U.S. 1, Juno Beach. Admission is free but donations are welcome.
