I love seeing the creativity that hotels are using to come up with spectacular promotions to win our business. I just heard of a promotion in Washington D.C. where you can volunteer your way to 50% off the rate of your hotel room. Love the idea, but too bad I don’t write about D.C.

Here’s a local deal for you and it comes to us from the team at PGA National and if you do these few things, you will earn a free night stay at PGA National Resort & Spa.

1. On Wednesday, June 24, pick up a copy of the Palm Beach Post.
2. Flip through the pages until you find the coupon for PGA National/Ironwood Grille.
3. Cut it out and stop by Ironwood Grille between June 24 and July 1 for dinner. Use your coupon and get your 2nd entree for just $1.
4. After you redeem your coupon, they will give you a voucher for a free night’s stay at PGA National Resort & Spa (though blackout dates do apply). Room certificate is valid through September 30, 2009.
