It’s better to be safe than sorry, so there’s no reason to skip that mammogram. With the number of people who are uninsured right now, it’s easy to just skip that mammogram, but there’s no reason to, especially with The Hope Project. The Hope Project offers free (to qualifying low-income women) or low cost mammograms for uninsured women 40 and over in Palm Beach and Martin Counties.
