Family Fun Fest returns to CityPlace on Sunday, May 12, 2013 from 1-4 pm. This monthly event changes themes each month & this month it will be “Mom & Me.” The first 200 moms will receive a $10 gift card. Those in attendance will enjoy special mommy & me activities; memory moments in the photo booth; chair massages and flowers for mom; arts & crafts; live music and entertainment. This event is free to attend and takes place at CityPlace.

Family Fun Fest returns to CityPlace on Sun., Jan. 13, 2013 from 1-4 pm. The theme for this month’s event is Fantasy Day. The little ones are encouraged to dress up as their favorite character. They’ll also have the chance to meet SpongeBob, Princesses, Dora the Explorer, Superheroes and enjoy face painting, the bounce house, games and play in the fantasyland.
Family Fun Fest returns to CityPlace on Sunday, December 9, 2012. This month’s theme is Winter Carnival. Gather up the entire family and stop by to experience Holidays around the world, a CityPlace tree competition, photos with Santa & Friends, a toy workshop, the ice skating rink and more. CityPlace will even be collecting toys for Little Smiles.

The annual Tree Lighting ceremony in CityPlace will take place on Sat., Nov. 17, 2012. The fun starts at 3pm on the plaza and includes a holiday performance, the season’s first snowfall, a holiday magician, dance groups, the Miami Dolphin cheerleaders and more. Music for the Mind returns to the Harriet Himmel Theatre in CityPlace on Tues., Oct. 16, 2012 at 7:00 pm. This month’s performing group will be the Lynn University Conservatory of Music String Chamber Orchestra. They will be performing some of the world’s greatest string orchestra literature.
