The holiday season kicks off at Downtown at the Gardens (11701 Lake Victoria Gardens Ave, Palm Beach Gardens) on Sat., Nov. 24, 2012 at 6:00 pm with Downtown Lights up the Night. This festive celebration begins with performances by The Maltz Jupiter Theatre Youth Touring Company, Dwyer High School Jazz Band and the Women of Note-Chorus — and the live performance will conclude with a selection of show-stoppers from the theatre’s production of “The Music Man.” When 7pm rolls around, D@TG will light up the night with a new show featuring over 350,000 lights synchronized to music in the Center Court.
This eye-catching holiday light show will continue until the end of the year every evening at 6, 7, 8 & 9 pm.
Downtown at the Gardens has partnered with GATER 98.7 and Seacoast National Bank to present “Rock and Roll Summer at Downtown.” Every Friday from June 8th through August 31, a different classic rock tribute band will perform from 7-1o pm in Downtown Park, adjacent to The Cheesecake Factory.

Downtown at the Gardens will host a series of free ballroom dance classes in the Centre Court on Tuesday nights. This is part of ‘The Date Night Challenge‘ where area restaurants will also be offering discounts to encourage regular dates among couples. These classes — taking place from January 17th until February 14th — are free to attend and will start at 8 pm.

Downtown at the Gardens is celebrating New Years Eve and it’s all dedicated to the kids. Cleverly titled Noon Year at Downtown, this end of the year event will include free carousel rides, games, face painting and other surprises. There will also be a kid-friendly toast with 97.9 WRMF personalities at noon with party hats and horns included.

Downtown at the Gardens will play host to Art in the Gardens on October 15 & 16, 2011. From 10:00 am until 5:00 pm on both days, Downtown at the Gardens will be transformed into an outdoor art garden where over 100 local and regional artists will be featured; food and drink will be available at local restaurants; live entertainment will be provided; and more. There is no cost to attend this event.
