Artisans on the Ave
Join the The Ceramic League of the Palm Beaches for their holiday exhibit and sale on Friday from 6-9 p.m. in Lake Worth. This includes a free public reception with refreshments, demos and great clay art. This will take place at 630 Lake Avenue in Lake Worth; 561.582.3300
Free Music on the Plaza
On Friday, from 7-11 p.m. head over to CityPlace for their free live entertainment on the Plaza with music be Eclipse (Top 40 Variety).
SATURDAY, DECEMBER 13TH
Jessica Handler’s Writing Workshop will take place at the Boca Raton Museum of Art on Saturday from 2-4 p.m. Discuss examples from classic literature, generate new material from prompts and learn the tools to write well about difficult subjects. North Pole at Legacy Place
Legacy Place (in the space adjacent to both Petco and Shoe Carnival) will be transformed into the North Pole on Saturday from noon – 3 p.m. For this free event, guests will enjoy a petting zoo, face painting, stilt walkers, a meet and greet with Santa and Mrs. Claus.
SUNDAY, DECEMBER 14TH
Free Family Fun Fest
CityPlace continues their monthly free family fun fest this Sunday from 1-4 pm. This month’s theme is Winter Wonderland — and guests will enjoy photos with Santa, snowfalls on the plaza, train rides, cultural and holiday performances, a chance to make toys with the elves and more. Guests are also encouraged to bring a toy for Toys for Tots.
FAU presents: Tuba Christmas Concert
Tuba and Euphonium players of all ages are welcome to perform in this free concert in Mizner Park Amphitheater. Performer registration begins at 2:30 p.m. while the concert starts at 5:00 p.m.
