The summer music series continues at Mizner Amphitheater this Friday, August 1st with a free performance by Jimmy Stowe and the Stowaways ( a Jimmy Buffett tribute band). Bring out the family early to claim a spot & remember to bring with you a blanket or chair (chairs will also be available to rent for $5). Unfortunately, you’ll have to leave your food and beverages at home, but they will be available for purchase at the event. No pets will be permitted at this event.

At this event, attendees will also have the opportunity to sample craft beer from Sweetwater Brewing Company.

Preferred parking will be available adjacent to the amphitheater for $10 or at City Hall and the Downtown Libraries for free

This summer will be hopping with free live music at Boca Center’s Summer Concert Music Series, taking place the first Saturday of each month from 7-9 p.m. These free concerts and perfect for the entire family. The series kicks off on Sat., June 7th, as Turnstiles – a Billy Joel Tribute Band performs from 7-9 p.m. Before, during or after the show, treat yourself to some good eats at one of Boca Center’s popular restaurants.

SunFest2014Are you heading out to Sunfest this year? This annual waterfront music and art festival will return to South Florida from April 30 to May 3, 2014. image005The summer country music concert series returns to CityPlace this summer. The kick-off will be on Tues., June 25th with a free show on the plaza by Jerrod Neimann on Tues., June 25th. The singer and songwriter will perform sounds for the crowd like his number one hit, “Lover, Lover,” and top five single, “What Do You Want.”

On Wed., July 24th, there will be another free event with Joe Nichols.

The official after-party for each show will be held at what will be CityPlace’s newest music venue and restaurant, Tequila Cowboy Bar & Grill.

Festival of the Arts BOCA is just around the corner (March 4-12) and to gear up for it, they have paired up with Mizner Park to host a month-long program of free weekend performances this month. BLP Sunday Night Cookouts continues this Sunday, October 24, 2010, at Hurricane Bar in Delray Beach. From 6-8 pm, guests will enjoy a free BBQ with mojo-marinated chicken, sirloin burgers and beefy foot-long hot dogs (for bar patrons only).
