Sunfest

Are you heading out to Sunfest this year? This annual waterfront music and art festival will return to South Florida from April 27 to May 1, 2016. Taking place on Florida’s Intracoastal Waterway, extending along Flagler Drive from Banyan Blvd to Lakeview Ave, SunFest is expected to attract over 175,000 visitors this year.

Discounted Tickets to Sunfest are available to those who buy early and are available for purchase online, by phone at 800-786-3378 (Mon.- Fri. 9 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. & Sat. 10 a.m.-2 p.m.); at Publix locations in Martin & Palm Beach counties between April 10 and April 23, or at the SunFest Store (525 Clematis St., West Palm Beach) weekdays between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

With this advance pricing deal, you will enjoy a 1-day pass for adults for $35 (until March 11) or for $40 (March 12 – April 23). Pricing at the door will be $45. A 1-day children’s pass for children 6-12 will be $10 (until April 23), and $12, thereafter. Kids 5 and under are free. Discounted tickets are also available for multi-day tickets.

SENIORS

Seniors 65 and up will enjoy discounted tickets for $20, available at the door only.

Kids will enjoy discounted tickets to Sunfest thanks to Well Fargo. Tickets for youth 6-12 will enjoy advance tickets for $10 or tickets purchased at the gate for $12. Kids 5 and under will get in for free. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

FRIDAY DISCOUNT PROMOTION

Tobacco Free Florida is sponsoring a promotion that will save you $10 (based on the gate price) on SunFest admission on Fri., April 29 making a 1-day pass just $35. This deal is good for admission on Friday.

MILITARY DISCOUNT

Active members of the Military, National Guard, Reservists and Veterans can enjoy a 1-day ticket for $35, this is $10 off the gate price. This deal, sponsored by Bank of America, must be purchased through GovX and is available through 4/23. Four tickets maximum per order.

Clematis by Night
If you’re looking for some entertainment to add to your Thursday night itinerary, look no further than Clematis By Night. This weekly event is free to attend and takes place in Centennial Square in downtown West Palm Beach on Thursday evenings from 6-9 p.m.

If you’re looking for something to do this weekend or next or any weekend throughout the year, head over to Harbourside Place located along Jupiter’s Intracoastal Waterway. The series kicks off on Sat., June 7th, as Turnstiles – a Billy Joel Tribute Band performs from 7-9 p.m. Before, during or after the show, treat yourself to some good eats at one of Boca Center’s popular restaurants.

image005The summer country music concert series returns to CityPlace this summer. The kick-off will be on Tues., June 25th with a free show on the plaza by Jerrod Neimann on Tues., June 25th. The singer and songwriter will perform sounds for the crowd like his number one hit, “Lover, Lover,” and top five single, “What Do You Want.”

On Wed., July 24th, there will be another free event with Joe Nichols.

The official after-party for each show will be held at what will be CityPlace’s newest music venue and restaurant, Tequila Cowboy Bar & Grill.

Enjoy a free concert by The US Army Jazz Ambassadors at Monument Piazza located in Royal Palm Place (Federal Hwy & SE Mizner Blvd, just south of Palmetto Park Rd.) in Boca Raton on Sunday, October 31 from 3:00-4:30 pm. BLP Sunday Night Cookouts continues this Sunday, October 24, 2010, at Hurricane Bar in Delray Beach. Downtown at the Gardens pays tribute to your favorite bands on select Saturday nights. Listen to your favorite songs of the past, performed in the original style of the band. On Saturday, July 24th from 7:30-10:00 pm, it’s time to pay tribute to Journey with a performance by Odyssey Road. On the 31st, it’s time for some Santana with a performance by Galo, who will be performing from 7:30-10:30 pm. These events are free to attend.
