Although I know that Fiverr’s been around for awhile, it wasn’t until this past week that I tried it out for the first time — and wow, have I been missing out! For those of you unfamiliar with Fiverr, it’s the do it all, best friend that you’ve been waiting for your whole life and will help you accomplish anything including creating a logo for your company; researching any topic for you; redesigning your resume; creating ads for your website; and even creating a radio commercial for you. Even better, the prices are extremely reasonable — and most tasks cost just $5.
This is how Fiverr works:
People post tasks that they are willing to do for $5. These tasks are divided into the following categories: Graphics and Design, Online Marketing, Writing & Translation, Video & Animation, Music & Audio, Programming & Tech, Advertising, Business and More.
Buyers go in and either search for a specific item or scroll through the offerings, view past work of the sellers and choose their desired seller and processes the payment. The buyer will then fill out the additional info needed to process the order and voila, all is set and your selected seller will begin working on your project.
This is the perfect way to get a small(er) task accomplished for rather inexpensive price — and also a great way to connect with someone who you can work with on larger tasks. Buyers also rank the sellers so you have a better handle on how they perform and puts you more at ease at their ability to perform.
For me, I wanted to take a low res logo that I had and get a vector file made. My designer completed it in less than 10 hours and I would highly recommend popmature and it costs just $5 (some designers online were charging people $79 to do the same thing).
And now, here’s my gift to you … Sign up here and your first service is free.
*Disclosure: I do get a little something if you sign up under me, but you’ll also get something free, that you wouldn’t get otherwise.
