Have you been struggling to feed your family during the pandemic? Well, Palm Beach County wants to help. The county just released a new food assistance program that will help put food on the table of those most affected by COVID-19.
This new program, funded by the Coronavirus Aid, Relief & Economic Act (CARES), will be giving out pre-paid debit cards up to $1000 to those most in need. These funds must be used by December 30, 2020. The amount issued will be determined by the number of people in your household, starting with $400 for 1-2 member households.
To qualify for this program, you must be at or below 140% of the average medium household income, apply on the county’s website and proof (ie. pay stub, tax return) and government-issued id will be required. Limit 1 card per household.
