Brightline, the new intercity express train service, will officially start its service this Saturday in West Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale. The station in West Palm Beach is located just steps away from CityPlace and Clematis Street at 260 Quadrille Plaza Drive and will offer rides to downtown Fort Lauderdale (with expanded service to include Miami and Orlando) and back between the hours of 6 a.m. and 11 p.m.
To kick things off, Brightline will offer complimentary parking to travelers in the 511 Evernia Street lot for a limited time — and there is a special one-way “Try our train fare” for $10 in the regular car and $5 more in the select service cars. After that, roundtrip fares will be priced at $20. The expected time for the WPB station to Fort Lauderdale is 35 minutes.
In addition to the large comfortable seats, guests will also enjoy plugs, USB jacks and free wi-fi.
To make the rides run seamlessly, an app will soon be available on itunes and Google Play.
Are you ready to jump on board? Then head on over to Brightline and purchase your ticket.
