While West Palm Beach’s holiday tree lighting will not take place this year, Sandi will return on Saturday, December 5. Sandi, West Palm Beach’s 35-foot, 700-ton holiday sand tree, will be on display through December 31, 2020.
To go along with tradition, Sandi will be on display and host nightly music and light shows nightly, from 6-10 p.m. event and she’ll be surrounded by additional sand sculpture. Missing this year will be Glow FORE It Mini Golf, Snowieville and Sandi’s Dressing Room.
New this year is a synchronized show with the city’s (soon to be completed) Centennial Square Fountain where the water will be dancing to the music.
Like everything else, the public is asked to abide by Palm Beach County’s mandates regarding facemasks. For your safety, the city will be cleaning high-touch areas frequently and hand sanitization stations will be placed throughout the area.
