This Thursday, June 5th, is Founder’s Day and the Flagler Museum is celebrating by offering free admission to the museum on June 5th from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This promo is in honor of the museum’s founder and Henry Flagler’s granddaughter, Jean Flagler Matthews. If you visit, you will enjoy a collection of original art, furniture and historic objects related to life in the Gilded Age. Visitors will also view special collections on Florida history and Henry Flagler’s impact in developing Florida’s East coast, while establishing tourism and agriculture as the backbone of the state’s economy.
