Did you know that October is National Bullying Prevention Month? Thanks to a new website and the #KindVibes initiative by the Monique Burr Foundation for Children, Inc.; parents, teachers and students will have a one-stop resource to help them deal with the bullying that is going on around them.
This website will teach students, parents and teachers how to recognize bullying and deal with it in a positive manner by offering a variety of resources, free of charge, that includes: classroom activities, checklists for recognizing bullying, and ideas for talking to kids about this. The goal of #KindVibes is to encourage students to fight against bullying by performing random acts of kindness in their everyday lives. Throughout the month of October, the organization is encouraging everyone to share their RAOK using the hashtag #KindVibes on social media.
