You can say that Mar-a-Lago has been in the news quite a lot lately, but how much do you know about the history of this establishment? Curious minds are invited to the Mandel Public Library on Tuesday, Feb. 28 from 6-7:30 p.m. for a talk with noted West Palm Beach architect and preservationist Rick Gonzalez. Gonzalez, a Cuban-American, has spent his life restoring historic properties and finding new uses for them. For this featured talk, he will explore the history and architecture of Mar-a-Lago (maralagoclub.com). For more information, call the library at (561) 868-7701.
The Mandel Public Library is located at 411 Clematis St.
