What to do in Palm Beach County this Week

What will you be doing this week in Palm Beach County? Well, we have suggestions for you. From virtual classes that you can take in the safety of your own home to a little friendly competition at Grandview, here are our picks for the week.

Visit the Norton Sculpture Garden

While the museum remains close, the Norton Sculpture Garden opened up this week and you are invited to explore. The Sculpture Garden is open to the public weekly from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday through Sunday. Although admission is free, donations are welcome and will go to benefit the Palm Beach County Artists Relief Fund. Safety precautions are being taken and masks and socially distancing are required. For the time being, guests must pre-register. For more information, visit the Sculpture Garden online.

Trivia at Grandview on Wednesday

Gather up your friends (yes, the smart ones) and head to Grandview Public Market this and every Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. Grandview will be hosting a weekly trivia night for guests of all ages.  While you’re there, enjoy some adult beverages paired with bites from your favorite food vendor. Did we mention that prizes will be awarded? For all of the details, head on over to Grandview’s website.

Homemade Mozzarella Cooking Class on Thursday

Celebrate National Cheese Day in style by taking a mozzarella cooking class right in your own kitchen. Chef Jorge Montes from Roho Kitchen will teach you how to make a classic Caprese Salad featuring homemade mozzarella cheese via Zoom. For all of the details, including a link to the Zoom meeting, head to the Homemade Chefs’ Meetup page.
