It’s time for another contest!
We have several copies of the DVD of Season 1 of the NBC TV series “Parenthood” to give away. This DVD was just released today, Aug. 31.
Here’s the description of the show:
Parenthood introduces us to the very large, very colorful and imperfect Braverman family. Single mother Sarah and her two children Amber and Drew moving back home with her parents Zeek and Camille. Sarah’s sister and complete antithesis, Julia, is a successful corporate attorney trying to juggle work and motherhood, alongside her stay-at-home husband, Joel. Price drops for 4-park pass

Miami Seaquarium, Wannado City, Lion Country Safari and Miami MetroZoo have dropped the price of the Summer Savings Pass to $44.95.
With the pass, you get unlimited visits to the Seaquarium, the zoo and Lion Country Safari, through Sept. 30, plus one visit to Wannado City.
If you already have an annual pass to one of these attractions, you can get the Summer Savings Pass for $19.95, a $10 drop in price since the beginning of the summer.

Saturday Kids Club at the Library

Kindergarteners and 1st graders are invited to join a Saturday book club at the West Palm Beach Public Library. Visit the Kidspace at the library to check out the book and to register.
The book club takes place on the 2nd Saturday of the month for the next 3 months (September 11, October 9, November 13) at 2:00 p.m.

Learn to Knit at the Library

The West Palm Beach Public Library will be offering free knitting classes starting September 1, 2010. These classes — open to children 8 and up — will learn basic stitches and patterns every Wednesday from 9/1/10 – 10/27/10. These classes will take place from 3:00-4:30 p.m. and parents are welcome to attend.
